Nathan, building off nearly 20 years’ FMCG experience in operations and marketing roles, has been a senior consultant with April Strategy for over a decade, working with a variety of UK and international clients across multiple sectors. 

Twice recognised by the marketing industry, Nathan graduated as a chemical engineer from the University of Bath before beginning his career at Britvic Soft Drinks on its fast-track graduate scheme in the operations function, breaking into marketing supporting the launch of J20. He moved on to work in several high profile FMCG companies including Danone, PepsiCo and Dairy Crest to successfully develop numerous household brands including Jacob’s Cream Crackers, Tropicana and Clover. 

Nathan brings diverse operations, marketing and consulting experience from both client and consultant side, which, together with a natural collaborative style and energy, help build long term strategies, enhance efficiency and productivity, and foster a positive working culture. 

  

As a licensed practitioner of the innovative, psychometric-based feedback tool Packtypes, Nathan helps teams better understand themselves and each other, building an empowered, growth mindset-orientated culture, capable of sustainably building the organisation. 

Nathan has also been supporting the Brunel Business School in West London since 2020, where he frequently lectures to and supports undergraduate and MBA students, and runs client-facing workshops such as the government-backed ‘Help to Grow Management’ programme. 

  

He lives in Buckinghamshire with his wife, two boys and a couple of speedy whippets. He enjoys spending time with family and friends, and keeps fit running and as a black belt in karate.
